We had a great weekend for our first match of the year. Our shooters set 11 State Records and Paul Behe tentatively set a new National Record for Senior at 300 yds of 100-5X over the old record of 100-4X. Scope Class had an interesting outcome with husband and wife team Steve and Jodi Decker both shooting a 546-11X. We had to go to the Creedmore score at 600 yds to determine that Jodi was the Scope State Champ. Paul Behe is the Iron sight State Champ. Ray Saltzman is the Iron sight Sat. aggregate winner and Greg Vest is the Scope aggregate winner. We were glad to see Leroy Sleight, his friend Mark Miller and son-in-law Nick Graham come and shoot with us and try out the mid-range course, hopefully they will return and join us for more matches in the future. Congratulations to all the winners. I would like to personally thank everyone for all the help I got running the match, we work together quite well as a team and you folks do a great job and make me look good. We had a record turn out for this match and a good time seemed to be had by all.
